2. The quality of the grinding head of the edging machine has a great impact on the grinding quality of the glass. The position and moving clearance of the grinding head have been adjusted before leaving the factory. During use, except for the forward and backward grinding heads, the rest are generally not moved to avoid affecting the grinding quality. In addition, the backward position of the grinding head is not easy to be too large, otherwise it is easy to damage the waterproof sleeve, cause water leakage, and easily burn the motor.

3. Whether the cooling is sufficient or not also has a great influence on the grinding effect. Always check whether the cooling pipeline is blocked. In particular, the pipeline of the linear edging machine is easy to be blocked by bristles, and it is not easy to be detected after blocking, which will cause insufficient cooling and affect the edging quality.

4. The stepless speed variator used by the edging machine must be in the open state when adjusting the speed, otherwise it is easy to damage the stepless speed variator of the edging machine.

5. Precautions for the use of special-shaped machine: ① whether the height of suction cups on the worktable of special-shaped machine is consistent has a great impact on the grinding effect. During assembly, the manufacturer has self ground five groups of suction cup seats, and selected suction cup glue with the same thickness to keep the height of each suction cup consistent. Therefore, generally, do not disassemble and assemble the suction cup. If the suction cup adhesive is damaged, the one with the same thickness shall be selected for replacement. ② After using the vacuum pump of special-shaped machine for a period of time, the vacuum degree will drop (i.e. suction drop) due to water inflow and other reasons. Therefore, it is necessary to check and eliminate the fault. Otherwise, when the machine works under the condition of insufficient suction, on the one hand, the grinding quality will be affected, and on the other hand, it is prone to safety accidents.

6. Precautions for the use of the straight-line edging machine: the working mode of the straight-line edging machine (straight edge machine, round edge machine, beveling machine) is to clamp the glass through the front and rear pressing plates and drive its linear movement for grinding. Two points must be paid attention to during use: ① the joint surface of front and rear pressing plates and guide rails should be lubricated frequently, otherwise the normal service life of the machine will be affected due to the premature wear of the working surface of front and rear pressing plates and guide rails. Although some models have automatic lubrication devices, it is necessary to always check whether the lubrication pipeline is unblocked; ② When clamping the glass, the clamping force should be appropriate. Too loose will affect the grinding quality. Too tight will increase the load of the machine, which is easy to cause shaking and crawling. When grinding thin glass, it is also easy to crush the glass. The clamping force can be tested by clamping a slightly larger piece of glass on the machine, that is, clamp the glass in the middle of the machine, press the glass with both hands when the machine is stopped, and it is appropriate to feel that the clamping force is adjusted to just when both hands can not move.

7. Precautions for the use of the profiling machine: ① the profiling of the profiling machine has a great impact on the grinding accuracy. The working surface relying on the formwork must be made with accurate shape and size and high finish. If the abnormity relies on the formwork, the transition must be smooth. ② When replacing the template and suction cup, the working surface of the suction cup must be kept horizontal, otherwise the grinding quality will be affected.

8. Precautions for the use of bilateral edging machine: ① the bilateral edging machine is a high-grade edging machine. It is best to fix two or three people to operate it to ensure correct operation. ② In case of any error or failure in the procedure of the bilateral mill, it is best to ask the original manufacturer to send personnel for maintenance and commissioning. Generally, do not disassemble and repair, so as to avoid confusing the procedure and causing shutdown.
